Antique Egyptian Cement Tiles

We are privileged to have some great friends who travel frequently. They had dinner in a restaurant in Egypt that had a multitude of cement tile patterns on the floors. Some were laid between dividers of wood in a wheel effect and some cement tiles were laid as a tile rug.

We are so amazed that cement tiles are loved around the world and you see the same patterns in many regions.

Do some armchair traveling and have a look at the array of cement tiles in this restaurant.

We love some of the ways they have combined patterns to make the cement tile rugs in the tile floors. It takes some planning but is well worth the effort.
