Patchwork tile floors are a happy, carefree look.  They are great for cafes, breakfastrooms, sun porches, restrooms, and anywhere a festive, optimistic atmosphere is desired. And they are great at hiding crumbs ! We have two groups of colorful tiles that can be used individually or combined for unlimited layout options.

Each Group has 64 tiles. They are packed sixteen tiles per box. You will get 4 boxes of 4 tiles of each design, shown below.

Our Patchwork Tiles must be ordered by Group.  So minimum order is 64 tiles (4 boxes). You can specify how many units of Group #1 and Group #2 that you want. Each unit covers aprox 28 sq ft or 2.5 sq meters.

We have included field tile, solid colors, borders and corners. It is up to you to decide if you want to use the some of the 4 corner tiles together to form a 4-tile unit as we did some in this design or if you want to scatter them all amongst the overall design.  See various layout possibilities below. Color coordinated solid color (monochrome) tiles are included in our mixes to give the eye a place to rest in the midst of so much visual activity.

Using only Group 1 with one unit of tile you can achieve these suggested layouts: (aprox 28 sq ft or 2.5 sq meters)

Using only Group 2 with one unit of tile you can produce a floor like this below: (aprox 28 sq ft or 2.5 sq meters)

It is suggested that you print out the layout you like for your tile installer. We have found it is a bit of a challange to achieve a nice balanced layout without some planning.

Here Marlene Majdouline (nickname Manu”) presents freshly made tiles that have been wet to show you how the colors will develop when they are sealed and waxed.

You can see a lot of surface water here, some tiles are very wet and sone are half-wet.

Here are actual photos of the tile as it comes out of the press. They are wet and the collors are deep. When your tile arrives it will be lighter and the colors will deepen after cleaning, sealing and waxing.
