Print out our tile layout graph paper for 10" tiles. It is labeled in both tiles and inches. Try different combinations of field tiles and borders and solids up to the wall  for up  to a 13 x 22 foot room. For a larger room, print this paper twice and tape them together. This file is in .pdf format, it it doesnt open for you, get free Foxit PDF Reader.

You can do a layout using crayons or cut out pieces of colored paper to represent your design layout to best fit the measurements of your space.

MS Office:If your copy of MS Office included MS Publisher, we have made a Publisher grid template that will allow you to make tile floor layouts with our 48 x 48 pixel tiles. You can rotate each tile individually with in the grid, move them around, and do copy/paste operations , then print it.  This is a .pub format file that can only be opened by MS Publisher as far as we know.
