This lively lunch and dinner spot sports\u00a0expensive bourbons in cages and an emphasis on great “pub grub” and serving liquor neat.<\/p>\n

Ladies and Gentlemen \u00a0are \u00a0welcome…so says the sign at Chicago’s new pub\/ tavern\/bar\/restaurant The Franklin Room.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0The Franklin Room is a proper city tavern and urban\u00a0speakeasy located in the popular River North neighborhood. Described by Google as “Creative, wide-ranging American menu & brown booze, sake & tons of beers in a subterranean space” and we would add “sporting a handsome hand crafted herringbone tile floor<\/a> from Villa Lagoon Tile”.\u00a0\"Close<\/a>
\nIn areas around the entrance and the bar a coordinating checkerboard pattern is made from two shades of VLT’s solid color\u00a0cement tiles.<\/p>\n
