These are 8" hexagonal cement tiles (230x200mm), using colors from the South Beach Palette.
Our "Taking Turns" family of geometric hex cement tile patterns can take on almost any form you want. By combining the basics, such as "Fifty-Fifty Hex", which splits the hex in half, from point to point, or "Ambihextrous", that clips two ends to make a rectangle, a designer can create stripes, meandering lines, repeating triangles, or almost anything! Try it for yourself, using our Tile Design Tool. Our "Hex Caret" pattern slices a diamond, out of one side, leaving a caret in the negative. We're still not positive whether we should have spelled this "Carat" as unit of measure for diamonds, instead of "Caret" as the shape of the glyph.
Unlike with many other products, custom cement tile has no special mark-up. In fact, custom tile can sometimes be slightly less, or even significantly less with large enough orders. Essentially, all cement tile is custom: each tile is hand-made. We pioneered the online in-stock experience to overcome the only difficulty of custom tile: production time. If your project doesn't require your tile for 10-14 weeks or more, and your project is over 78 square feet, custom tile may be your best choice.
